An experienced Specialist ICT (with computing) Teacher is needed by one of our partnership Special Schools in East Manchester for a one year contract commencing May 2017.
The school which is a PRU, is looking for an ICT teacher who has experience either working in a PRU or with pupils with EBD or SEBD. Team Teach qualified would be advantageous.
The pupils who attend this school have either been permanently excluded from mainstream school, or are at risk of permanent exclusion.
The school is split across two sites - located in South Manchester and East Manchester. The Key Stage 3 site is very close to public transport and is in fact opposite the local tram stop, and the Key Stage 4 site is located alongside a busy bus route. The school also has free parking for teaching staff.

To be suitable for this role, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), have taught ICT within the current national curriculum and have experience of working with children with EBD, SEBD. Most importantly you will need to be intuitive, caring, and have the ability to engage with pupils to build supportive learning relationships with pupils.
