Our client is a prominent and fast growing organization and they provide various professional services, including Health & Safety, training, asbestos management and consultancy work to clients including high profile clients.

Due to current state of the business, they are now looking seeking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and self-driven Health & Safety Consultant to work for them in Yorkshire and will include applications from West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, the applicant must come from a strong technical, consultancy, management, training, auditing, Health & Safety, asbestos and Legionella background.

Must possess the NEBOSH - IOSH certificates - Health & Safety qualifications.

Must have significant experience working within this role and within the Health & Safety industries and having expertise in other industries would be beneficial.

Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Must have good organizational, presentational, leadership, people management and client facing skills.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package - Database.

Key Responsibilities:

Attending the sites and undertaking various audits/inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams.

Undertaking Health & Safety risk assessments, auditing staff on site and dealing with all aspects of Health & Safety issues - IOSH.

Carrying out Health & Safety compliance audits, etc.

Providing technical support to the company's large and mixed portfolio of clients.

Liaising with the company's prestigious clients and advising them of their obligations.

Producing comprehensive Auditing, Health and Safety and environmental reports and documents

Conducting Safety Training courses.

In general, the successful applicant will be flexible and confident and have the ability to carry out the role effectively and must be prepared to travel extensively.
