HR Advisor; Full Time; 6 month FTC (strong chance of going permanent); Competitive Salary & Benefits package ; Based in Preston

Our valued client, who is a leader in their field, is currently looking for a HR Advisor to play an important role in supporting their HR & recruitment function. The HR Advisor will report into the HR Manager and act as a key figure within the wider HR team. The HR Advisor primarily support the day-to-day generalist activities, recruitment campaigns as well as proactive support on several key HR projects. This HR Advisor job is ideal for anybody who wants to build their HR experience for a growing company with exceptional future opportunities for personal and career development.

The successful candidate's core duties and responsibilities will include (but by no means be limited to):

* Being the first point of contact for employees, and dealing with queries in a timely and positive manner.
* Effectively manage, organise and run end to end recruitment campaigns.
* Actively support with disciplinary and grievance procedures.
* Supporting with absence management.
* Support with key HR projects such as talent, succession planning and engagement

Essentially, the ideal candidate will be able to think on their feet, work well independently and in a team, and be a positive influence on the overall HR function and wider business. The right person will also have an acute awareness and ability to deliver excellent customer service.

It would be an advantage to your application to have achieved Level 5 CIPD or be working towards this however practical previous HR Advisor / Generalist experience is more desirable. The successful candidate will also possess excellent I.T skills (being competent in using Microsoft packages such as Excel) and will be confident and articulate enough to communicate with all areas of the organisation, as well as the HR team and Managers.
