Currently the Flamelily Healthcare are seeking a project manager to work within the NHS isle of wight area.

The ideal candidate will Project Manage delivery of work assigned by the Head of Service Improvement, working in line with the standard Programme Management framework to support improvements using various change management techniques. You will need to provide 2 recent references in a timely manner before commencing work.

• To project manage delivery of assigned projects.
• To ensure the development of required project documenation working with key stakeholders in line with the standard PMO Framework methodology
• To identify resources required to deliver assigned work.
• Develop, refine, maintain, monitor and manage relevant project plans ensuring progress is tracked and reported in line with the PMO framework methodology.
• Ensure that project plan activities are completed by the responsible officers in line with due dates identified in the plan
• To support, manage and coordinate projects to achieve their objectives which will include;
??Co-ordinating meetings and management of relevant documentation
??Facilitating project meetings
??Undertake research in agreed areas to enable workstreams and programme boards to make informed decisions.
• Analyse and present data to assist in the general decision making process
• Produce weekly and monthly reports to show progress on the programme.
• To ensure risks and issues are identify and escalated to the appropriate senior leaders responsible for the project
• To develop key performance indicators for relevant projects and ensure these are monitored on a weekly basis to provide assurance of project delivery
• To develop post project evaluation reports detailing lessons learnt and benefits to be realised by the business.

Communication and Relationships.

• To advise on project delivery frameworks at all levels
• To enable stakeholder engagement across th organisation in terms of aligning expectations on project resources and deliverables.
• Through coaching and demonstrating leadership behaviour, contribute to the development of a continuous improvement culture across the partner organisations.
• Develop and foster relationships with key contacts in the partner organisations and proactively manage these relationships such that colleagues can count on reliable and knowledgeable support and information about projects and other managed activities
• Develop a working relationship with other support teams - IT, estates, HR, Finance - that will enable the support of project delivery.
• Work with colleagues to identify and pursue improvement project opportunities

Analysis and Judgement

• To monitor the activities associated with the adoption and utility of a PMO framework
• To undertake the identification of project interdependencies
• To advise on the effective sequencing of inter-dependant project activities and use excellent interpersonal skills to manage the potentially conflicting views and priorities of stakeholders.

People Management and Development
• To participate in the up-skilling across the organisation in project management skills and techniques through delivering effective and targeted training.
• To deliver training in multiple settings and tailor training to the needs of the individual and specific organisational requirements.
Information System use and management
• Be a confident and capable user of Microsoft packages to produce relevant reports.
• Handle large amounts of raw data and manipulate into simple formats to interpret findings.
• Use IT effectively to monitor performance in an area undergoing improvement activity in order to recognise the impact on performance as a result of change activities.

-First degree and evidence of further study or equivalent experience
-Post Graduate Diploma or demonstrable equivalent professional development

Experience, knowledge
-Experience of assisting in the planning organisation-wide change activities
-Knowledge and experience of assisting in the deployment of organisation-wide change activities
-Experience of successful, complex project leadership
-Experience of complex project delivery
-Experience of working a team where cross-pollination of skills is essential
-Experience of assisting in the resource planning of scarce resources
-Experience of developing training materials
-Knowledge and practical experience of Lean tools and their use in an improvement environment
-Experience of operating in an environment of conflicting priorities and managing the trade- offs and compromises that result
-Highly numerate and literate.
-Capable of working with minimal supervision
-Outward going and customer oriented.
-Often required to switch tasks at short notice
-Workload and content often unpredictable
-Organised and able to priortise time
-Coaching and challenging others
