Compliance Officer (multi-site) to work for an exceptional provider of care to young people and adults

Your new company
You will be working for one of the Country's leading providers of specialist care for young people and adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities. This organisation has a proven track record of delivering good and outstanding services across multiple sites nationally. The organisation prides itself on the development and progression of its staff.

Your new role
You will be part of a growing compliance team which has national responsibility for the reporting, critical analysis and improvement of the providers care and education services. Working on a group level, you will have responsibility to work with 4 large residential education settings as well as around 20 residential homes for adults with learning disabilities. You will work to Ofsted and CQC frameworks to ensure the critical analysis you provide continues to improve and uphold the exceptional standards delivered by the organisation across the board. This role will require the post holder to spend time away from home, working on multi-sites which are based in and around the Home Counties, Shropshire and Lincolnshire. This role is ideal for someone looking for the opportunity to learn and progress their career. You will be responsible for report writing. You will also be responsible for developing strong relationships with managers across the business.

You will -

Carry out inspections within the adult and children's provision across the group that meet with relevant inspection frameworks.
Deliver feedback and make recommendations to managers on site, following all inspection activity and especially in instances whereby legislative requirements are not being met.
Review development plans for each home feedback to measure and report on progress.
Assist with the registration of new homes in line with regulatory requirements.
Carry out unannounced visits to & produce findings to further improve and strengthen the provision, even when provision is good or better.
Develop the Quality Assurance feedback process and analyse data to improve the service where possible.Carry out medication audits.
Carry out responsive inspections in instances whereby a concern has been raised and produce relevant feedback.
Demonstrate effective written & oral communication skills at all levels.
Adhere to the Employee Handbook and all Company policies and procedures; particularly those relating to Health & Safety and safeguarding the welfare of residents and children.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by management.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be ambitious, conscientious, flexible with travel, and have some understanding of compliance within the care sector. You will be be supported and nurtured by the existing senior professionals within the compliance team to continue to grow your knowledge of relevant frameworks and regulations. You will need to be in a position to work away from home on a national basis (time spent overnight in certain locations with be required - hotels/accommodation will be provided).You will need to thrive within a busy, multi site setting and approach tight time frames and deadlines with tenacity and confidence. Attention to detail, flexibility, confidentiality, and excellent report writing and verbal communication are essential personal characteristics and skills required to be effective in this post.
