Finance Manager/Company Secretary - Treforest - Up to GBP32K

Due to constant expansion a Finance Manager/Company Secretary is required for my client in Treforest. The purpose of the role is take a lot of the responsibilities away from the MD so you will be working very closely with him initially. The role will suit an experienced Company Secretary, Office Manager, Ops Manager or Finance Manager from a SME and the role will be responsible for two separate but linked businesses. The MD is looking for an honest, trustworthy and open individual that has a willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Extensive administrative experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent/equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Previous PA and/or Committee Secretarial experience
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish working relationships at all levels
  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Demonstrate ability to handle several demanding tasks concurrently and to prioritise workload. Working to tight deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Main responsibilities:
  • Managing the implementations of the business development strategy and helping to shape its future direction.
  • Identify opportunities, forge and develop relationships to enable business growth.
  • Reporting and monitoring on capital expenditure plans
  • Analyse sales and other reports that give insight into how the company can make adjustments to improve performances
  • Resolve issues with contracts and commercial operations
  • Manage daily company operations
