Quality and Application Engineer - Banbury - to GBP38,000
Role: Quality and Customer Application Engineer
Salary: up to GBP35,000 + up to 17.5% matched pension, Company car and pay rise after probation.
Responsible for all the local quality support for customers, liaising with outside agencies and providing feedback and face to face contact with customers. This role will be 50% quality engineering and 50% customer applications (specification of products to solve customers' problems).
8D Problem Solving
Manage warranties and monthly reports
Customer application engineering for SME and 2nd tier suppliers
Provide back up and holiday cover to the application engineering manager (will be returned)
This role will suit an engineer with experience working with/for blue chip organisations as a technician engineer or design engineer.
Candidates who have experience of Kinematics and/or calculating energy needed to move mechanical parts alongside 8D and quality experience will be given priority.
As this role will require working with customers, you should expect the role to be evenly split between office and field based positions, however the overnight travel will be low.
