This is a part time, permanent position.

Our client, a commercial company based in Marlow are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to perform financial support and organisational duties with a responsible and confidential nature. The ideal candidate will have an assertive approach to all aspects to work and be adaptable to team environments.

Duties will include, but not limited to:
• Processing invoices
• Processing credit notes
• Credit checking customers
• Customer statements
• Liaise and resolve customer queries
• Obtain purchase order number
• To assist in the general finance function of the Finance Department e.g. preparing ad hoc reports, analysis work
• Succession cover for weekly payroll
• To carry out customer satisfaction surveys
• Ensure emails are read and prioritized accordingly and take action where necessary
• Manages workload effectively under pressure, ensuring deadlines are always met
• Pre-empt requirements and proactively use initiative
• Work to the standard of IIP, ISO9001 and ISO14001

Key Requirements include:

• Sage 50 Accounts (Sage 50 payroll desirable)
• Minimum GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
• Assertive with a professional approach to all aspects of work
• Quick to learn processes and systems
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Able to influence and make balanced decisions under pressure
• Planning and organisational skills
• Able to prioritise tasks and multi task
• Excellent communication skills
• Honesty, flexibility and reliability

Benefits:

• 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Two days a week: Tuesday and Wednesday (7.5 hours per day, total 15 hours per week)
• Hours of work: 8.30am-5pm (1 hour for lunch)
• GBP9.50 per hour, pro rata GBP18,525 per annum
