Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 DOE + Benefits

A Head of Customer Relations (Energy and Utilities) is required to join an up and coming Energy supplier on a permanent basis in the West Midlands. This is a heavily financially backed Energy retail business with plans for mass growth and other subsidiary companies possibly being considered in the near future. ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Must have at least 5 years' experience working in the UK Energy Industry
  • Must have expertise working in a Senior Departmental Manager or 'Head Of' role
  • Strong leadership skills are a must, having managed large 'Front Office' operational teams
  • Strong knowledge of the end to end customer journey
  • Excellent organisation skills, budget management, recruitment, training and performance management experience

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience having lead large Complaints teams for an Energy supplier considered an advantage
  • Expertise in process improvement, continuous improvement and relevant certifications considered an advantage (Lean Six Sigma etc.)
  • A passionate, hard-working and career focused individual with a real back bone and drive to succeed will stand out like a sore thumb!

Day to Day role:

The successful Head of Customer Relations will be responsible for managing multiple teams across a growing Utility in the West Midlands. With 4 or more direct reports and cross functional teams including, but not limited to inbound customer service, outbound customer service, credit management, retentions, third party suppliers, offshore partners (sales) and other Back Office functions, you will be required to effectively manage a very diverse team. The Head of Customer Relations will also be responsible for developing and implementing short term and long term plans to develop staff and improve performance, managing budgets and driving down costs as well as resource planning across all of the Operational teams. This is a very fast-paced role and thus someone who has experience in a similar role with the ability to manage a high workload will be a great fit.
