Payroll Supervisor 6 month contract up to GBP34,000 - Entertainment & Leisure - Milton Keynes

Aaron Wallis Finance is pleased to be recruiting a Payroll Supervisor on a 6 month contract for a leisure and entertainment business based in Milton Keynes.

You will have overall responsiblility for the payroll system ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees, whilst remaining compliant to the processing and reporting of payroll.

Key responsibilities

Ensure the monthly payroll is produced in a timely and accurate manner

Ensure fully up-to-date with all statutory obligations relating to Payroll including Pension, RTI and National Minimum Wage increases and working time directives.

Ensure all statutory returns are completed on a timely basis including P45, P60 and PAYE annual returns.

Action as appropriate for SSP, SMP, A.O.E, Manual Tax Calculations

Complete monthly payroll reconciliation and journals as necessary

Point of contact for all pay related queries both with the site and support centre/Group employees

Overall responsibility for the review and processing of all expenses across Tenpin.

Provide information to the HR Team where necessary

Lead Payroll systems development and Project implementation as required

Provide regular reporting in the area of for weekly labour forecasting and actual timesheet submission.

Provide payroll input in to the annual budget process.

Proactive fraud prevention through review of daily revenue protection reports including remote view of CCTV footage where required and directing the Internal Auditor where appropriate.

To actively participate in quarterly regional meetings; including presenting updates on areas relating to Payroll.

Ensure the weekly payroll is completed in the absence of the Payroll and Finance Assistant.

Assist the Group Finance Controller as appropriate.

The role is initially for 6 months but has the potential to go permanent thereafter and will be paid at a pro rata annual rate of up to GBP34,000 per annum. This is an immediate start so please send your details in the first instance
