Elite-HR are very pleased to be working with a very reputable Client based in central Southampton, who due to growth in their business are looking to recruit a Regional HR Advisor. This newly created role will provide a fantastic opportunity to a CIPD qualified HR professional who is looking to maybe further develop their career in an expanding business. You will support the Regional HR Manager to deliver a professional HR service to all stakeholders in the business. Predominantly looking after the UK arm of the business, you would also have a little exposure to the European arm. You would be expected to undertake occasional travel to two of our Client's other offices, based in the South.

A selection of the key accountabilities;

Employee Relations

* Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on Company policies, procedures and best practice and ensure each instance/case is managed in accordance with the policy, best practice and the relevant legal framework.
* Manage and conduct end to end disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy and TUPE.
* Conduct legally compliant processes for all aspects of the employment lifecycle including producing and coordinating the respective HR documentation.
* Liaise with employment lawyers where applicable, to seek expert advice.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures.

Performance Management

* Oversee the collation of performance ratings and assist with the annual calibration of performance ratings.
* Spot check the quality of the performance review and planning documentation.
* Provide guidance to managers on the Annual Performance Review process.
* Performance Improvement Plans, advice and guidance to line managers on this process.

Recruitment & Selection

* Coordinate the full recruitment process including advertising roles internally and externally, screening candidates, liaising with recruitment agencies, negotiating terms with recruitment agencies where applicable, scheduling and conducting interviews, providing feedback to candidates, offer and on-boarding documentation i.e. contracts and induction packs if required.
* Coordinating internal transfers, ensuring a smooth transition from department to department.
* Undertake the Predictive Index (PI) training course to become a certified analyst and ensure the PI tools are used for all recruitment.

Compensation & Benefits

* Actively coordinate, support and advise on annual processes such as salary reviews and bonus recommendations.
* Source insurances and benefit providers in different locations where applicable.
* Report on compensation, benefits and cost to company across the UK and Europe.
* Conduct salary benchmark exercise.

Health, Safety, Security and Environment

* Accountable for ensuring that an appropriate assessment of health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) risk is included as part of work planning.
* Accountable for implementation and monitoring of actions to mitigate risk and enhance controls within area of responsibility to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder.
* Ensure full compliance with, and implementation of, the ISS HSSE Management System.
* Ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to control HSSE risk.
* Accountable for ensuring that clear, appropriate and timely communication channels are put in place to report and manage HSSE risk.

* Educated to college level equivalent to A Level or Diploma standard.
* Part CIPD qualified or equivalent HR qualification/training.
* Experience at HR advisor level with a proven back ground in employee relations case management in Europe.
* Practical understanding of European employment law and ability to demonstrate the differences from UK legislation.
* Knowledge and understanding of core HR policies and procedures UK and European.
* Experience of supporting with organisational changes such as restructures, new country start-ups, redundancies, office closures, job redesign, etc.
* Experience of working for an international business and providing HR support remotely i.e. not face to face.
* Good communication skills in multicultural environment and ability to communicate at all levels.
* Proficient user of MS Office package, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Excellent English skills, written and oral.
* High attention to detail.
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
