Following on from our success in domiciliary care we have launched a Live In division providing a specialist live in service to local people looking for the very best service and quality of care. The team in led by a dedicated Live In Care Manager and supported by our local domiciliary care offices in Chipping Sodbury.


*What can Bluebird Care offer a Live In Care Assistant/Care Worker?*

A varied client base including older person/dementia and physical disability support
Daily pay rates from GBP78 - GBP118 per day
Weekly pay rates from GBP550 - GBP825 per week
Fully funded health and social care level 2 and 3 qualifications/QCF
We will pay for your time with your assessor, and you can use our office
We will pay for your DBS check
Comprehensive 3-day in-house training
All further training is paid for
28 days paid holiday per year

*What does a Bluebird Care Live In Care Assistant/Care Worker do?*

As a Live In Care Worker you will care for and support your customer in their own home providing a range of domestic and personal care services. Bluebird Care provides the very highest standards of care at home to older people, people with a physical disability and people with learning difficulties. The Chipping Sodbury office covers the South Gloucestershire local authority area including all the surrounding villages. We are focused on the self funding market and our customers have high expectations of the company and our care workers which means in turn we demand the very best from our staff.

A range of shift patterns are available including 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, 3 weeks on/1 week off and 4 weeks on/1 week off.

We also have opportunities for Live In Care Workers looking for short term or occasional/seasonal assignments to fit around other commitments.


*As a Live In Care Assistant/Care Worker, what training will I receive?*

We provide the very best training and support, including a 3 day initial training programme delivered by our own team of trainers. You will also have training related specifically to your customer before you go in for the first time. In addition, we are committed to your personal development and provide ongoing developmental training; for example in dementia care and end of life care. We also support our care workers in level 2 and 3 diplomas in health and social care.


*As a Live In Care Assistant/Care Worker, how much will I be paid?*

Rates of pay are from GBP78 to GBP118 per day depending on experience and the dependency of your customer. Travel to and from customers paid, 28 days paid holiday and paid regular on-going training from our care manager and outside training professionals.
