The purpose of this role is to manage the negotiation of master agreements (new and amendments to existing agreements) for the Royal London Group. You will negotiate a broad range of documentation including ISDA master agreements and credit support annex, Master FX agreements, EMIR regulatory letters, GMRA, GMSLA and other regulatory focused documents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Management of pipeline of derivatives related master agreements Negotiating ISDA master agreement and Credit Support Annex.
* Negotiating GMRA, GMSLA, Master FX Agreements.
* Papering clients with additional documentation which is required from a regulatory perspective (eg for EMIR)
* Development of a negotiation guide for the master agreements and a key terms tracker in respect of the master agreements

* Understand Risk Appetite statements and how they apply to the business area
* Ensure key business risks are fully understood, controlled and mitigated to ensure local plans are delivered and we meet our regulatory requirements

Key Skills & Experience required:

* Significant knowledge of the legal and regulatory requirements associated with and experience in negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and Credit Support Annexes, Master FX Agreements, EMIR Regulatory Letters, Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRAs) and Global Master Stock Lending Agreements (GMSLAs)
* As an experienced master agreement negotiator you will have extensive experience within a busy negotiation team
* Strong communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise their workload
* Ability to deal with multiple negotiations at the one time
* Gravitas to liaise with the derivatives Front Office and operations teams
