Are you a passionate, dynamic Geography teacher looking for a new challenge? Prospero Teaching are looking to fill a Geography Teacher position in a popular secondary school in Southampton to start in January. Due to a change in timetable the school are considering part-time applicants.

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for delivering the curriculum through a variety of creative teaching styles. You will need to be able to inspire, motivate and encourage the students to learn, whilst playing a vital part in increasing attainment for students across all Key Stages. Above all, a passion for your subject and be able to embed an enjoyment of Geography in your lessons is a must.

You will be joining a department of ambitious and dedicated staff, who aim to promote a purposeful and caring learning environment to make sure all students achieve their full potential

The position is initially on a contract basis, with a view to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

To be eligible you must:
• Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
• Have UK teaching experience.
• Be a UK resident or be eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a current and up to date DBS disclosure.
• Be creative and innovative.
• Have drive and tenacity.
• Encourage students to reach their full potential.
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Positive and creative approach to teaching
