Very Well Known Online Marketplace

We're working with a well established, incredibly popular and well known digital business in London. They sit within the online housing / flat sharing marketplace and have been established for over 10 years. They have around 80 employees in London and are now expanding to the US as well.

They're now looking to hire an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join the team.

Having recently hired a new CMO they're looking to build out a team of high performance marketers to accelerate growth across the US market. Paid search has traditionally been managed by a long list of freelancers and the account needs a fresh approach and a permanent pair of hands. There is an opportunity to make a big difference quickly by working with the CMO to get the UK account in order and expand the US account, city by city.

They are looking for a smart paid search specialist that is looking to expand their remit into a broader marketing role.

You should have at least 2 years' experience of:

Managing AdWords accounts spending more than GBP10k per month.
Experience using AdWords scripts to optimise large AdWords accounts would be highly advantageous.
The ability to write fresh AdWords scripts is not required but the ideal candidate will have a resolute desire to learn this skill.

Whilst paid search management will initially be a core function of this role, they also aim to diversify away from a primarily paid search marketing function into amongst others, paid social. Whilst similarly leveraging an existing strong PR team for some paid content marketing. This leaves a lot of opportunity for this candidate to learn new skills and become more than a specialist in one channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to take responsibility for their channels and ultimately manage their respective budgets. Expect the freedom to come up with ideas, test them and based on evidence be able to roll them out. The candidate will report direct to the CMO who is based in London and New York. There may be some possibility of travel to the US. Any candidates with living or working experience of the US would be beneficial.
