Our client, a well-established and successful specialist commercial mortgage lender, are looking to welcome a Completions Consultant to join their team. The role is to manage and progress a portfolio of loan applications through to completion in line with company standards, reporting to the Senior Loan Handler.

Main Responsibilities

• Personally manage and maintain a portfolio of loan applications to completion in accordance with internal procedures, guidelines and within agreed service level agreements
• Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager on the progress of cases against target from your portfolio of cases
• To assist in the departments completion planning by providing regular, accurate completion projections from your portfolio of cases to the Operations Manager
• Achieve the monthly individual and company formal offer and completion targets
• Develop and maintain close and regular contact with packagers, brokers and clients ensuring communication of requirements to and from all parties are both clear and unambiguous
• Ensure the packager, broker and client receives a 'best in class' service every time
• Work closely with the panel solicitors to ensure cases are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner and that service levels are adhered to
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure transparency of mortgage cases, working together to find the best solution for the packager, broker, client and company
• Work closely with underwriting and real estate to ensure the client originates and maintains a quality loan portfolio
• Update and maintain casework on the company's databases and systems, maximising the systems capability and using it both as a task prompt and as an audit trail
• Maintain the company's compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations

Requirements:

• At least 2 years previous experience in mortgage processing with a lender or packager is essential
• At least 1 years previous experience in letter and report writing is desirable
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential
• GSCE/GCE qualifications in both maths and English are essential

The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis (Mon - Fri, 9:00 - 5:30pm)
