Client And Control Accounting Manager
The Permanent Division of Robert Half Finance is currently recruiting for a Client and Control Accounting Manager on behalf of a Service Client who has their Shared Service Centre in Central Milton Keynes
As Client and Control Accounting Manager you will take responsibility for leading the Client and Control Accounting Teams and take ownership of all services, SLAs and KPIs for areas of customer accounting, bad debt recovery, client money, bank recs and purchase and sales ledgers. Day to day duties will consist of team management of a team of 9 staff; query management; compliance against internal financial controls; manage and understand the risk areas of the business; development of processes and procedures for the team; produce and review weekly and monthly management information for discussion with managers and team leaders; process improvement and core accounting for the team.
You will be a Qualified Accountant with previous team management experience and with strong knowledge managing a core transactional team. You will be methodical and analytical in your approach with a clear understanding of problems and their solutions. You will be interpersonally effective with the ability to liaise across internal teams and externally with clients to provide advice and assistance. A good understanding of SAP would be of benefit but is not essential.
