An attractive role is available in a Newcastle based team, offering very flexible working hours 3/4 days per week, excellent pay rates and career progression. Contract will be up until at least January 2018.

A day working in this Mental Health Nurse role might include:

- working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess and treat individuals who are experiencing mental health issues within the psychosis and non-psychosis brackets

- care coordinating for a caseload of service users of varying complexity, being responsible for their care planning process, referral and eventual discharge.

- working closely with practitioners within primary care, psychiatric liaison, inpatient services and crisis services.

- carrying out home visits and home-based assessments

- liaising with other agencies and professionals, including police, AMHP's, GP's, etc.

We are very interested in hearing from Mental Health Nurses who:

- have valid NMC registration

- have a nursing qualification (Mental Health)
