As part of the triumvirate team working with the Directorate Clinical Director and Assistant Director of Nursing you are responsible for leading the development of a Directorate within the Division to deliver a high quality patient focused service.
What you'll need to succeed
Master's degree educated
Senior Management level experience in a variety of settings including an acute trust
Experienced in design, planning and implementation of strategy
Experienced in delivery of major transformation programmes
Successful track record in leading and motivating staff during organisational change and beyond.
Demonstrate evidence of sound financial management including successfully identifying and delivering cost improvements plans
Evidence of effectively managing change whilst simultaneous delivering quality service
Experience of managing complex NHS services with multi-agency stakeholders
Experience of service redevelopment incorporating a number of stakeholders
Experience of change management as a result of financial turnaround and successfully leading staff through the process
Full awareness and understanding of local, regional and national agendas in respect of health and social care
A proven ability to consistently achieve results and targets
Demonstrate the ability to shape the future and bring staff with you
Proven ability to deal with a wide range of data and information, analysis appropriately, make decisions from it and take action accordingly
A proven ability to identify flexible and creative solutions to complex problems
Excellent collaborative working skills and ability to build strong relationships with clinical leaders and professional staff groups A proven ability to influence, persuade and challenge those groups
Proven ability to lead change through aspirational leadership techniques
A management style that empowers others and evidence of successfully driving a learning and supportive culture for all staff in your area of responsibility
Ability to hold to account others to ensure they deliver to their targets and dealing effectively with performance issues
Being able to manage own emotions and be resilient in a range of complex and demanding situations

Demonstrate commitment to public sector values
Sound knowledge base of the NHS, social care, current issues, its values and principles of timely local access or the population.

STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT - Service plans, Objectives, partnerships, Policy, Integration, Business development & Strategy Planning.
FINANCIAL / BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - Finance Management, Business Plans, Performance Management, Analysis, procurement, SLA, CIP.
COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS - Effective communications & relationships.
SERVICE MANAGEMENT - In line with Strategic, Financial and Service responsibilities.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT - In line with policy.
MANAGING SERVICES / CHANGE MANAGEMENT - In line with Strategic, Financial and Service responsibilities.
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT - Analysis, Development. In line with Service Management
CLINICAL GOVERNANCE - Risk Management, Development. In line with policy.
