Scheme Manager - GBP24,200 pro rata - Northampton - 35 hours per week.

Working for a forward thing=king national charitable organisation, we are looking for an experienced manager to join the team. As part of our ambitious strategy to support more older people in more local communities we are looking for a Scheme Manager to lead the development of a new Live at Home Scheme covering the Northampton area.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to directly support older people; identifying local need and working with the wider team to establish meaningful services which reduce feelings of loneliness and social isolation and improve wellbeing.

Role

??To work with the Live at Home Area Manager to develop and execute business development and service delivery plans which are specific to local needs and support the aims of the wider Strategy.
??To manage and develop the Scheme to meet the needs of older people within the community.
??To be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Live at Home Scheme's financial plan, balancing income against expenditure and taking early appropriate action against where variations are identified.

Responsibilities

??The post requires an individual with a range of business and operational skills, but critically, who possess a strong drive to deliver high quality services that reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings.
??The Scheme Manager will be responsible for line managing any additional staff appointments to the Scheme - this will depend upon the size of the Scheme and the breadth and volume of services delivered.
??Volunteers are crucial to the successful operating of any Live at Home Scheme and the Scheme Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and selection and on-going support and supervision of all Volunteers.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

??Driving Licence and own vehicle
??Recognised Social Care / Health qualification
??Understanding of the funding streams essential to Live at Home services, and experience of writing and submitting applications for funding
??Awareness of financial plans/Budgets.
??Ability to manage, lead and motivate a team
??Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group
??Satisfactory DBS Check
