We have an exciting opportunity to join of the UK's most reputable Colleges.
Due to growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Apprenticeship Manager to support a thriving Health and Social Apprenticeship Programme.
As an experienced Health and Social Care Programme Manager you will receive a salary of GBP33000-GBP36000, 25 days+ bank holidays, pension scheme, laptop and mobile phone.
You will be managing a team of Internal Verifiers, NVQ Assessors and Team Leaders who are responsible for the quality delivery and assessment of apprenticeships in Health and Social Care Apprenticeships.
This college offer Health and Social Care NVQ's up to Level 5.
This is a regional based role, however there will need to be flexibility to travel on a national basis.
The role will entail managing a team of NVQ Assessors/Trainers who are delivering the full Health and Social Care Apprenticeships including Functional Skills. You will define and manage the programme budget and be responsible for the strategy, resources and management of the programme so all targets and objectives are achieved. You will also be responsible for the management of the IQA Process.
You will support the Account Manager by taking responsibility for recruitment, induction and managing a national team of Trainers, Assessors, Team Leaders and IQA's. You will lead from the front and be responsible for setting, monitoring and reviewing of targets so that all operational measures are achieved.
As an Apprenticeship Manager you will be attending college meetings, events and travelling to see clients . This may involve some national travel.

Skills and Experience Required for the Apprenticeship Manager

" Previous experience of managing Health and Social Care Apprenticeship Programmes.
" Previous success of delivering performance through people
" A1, V1 Qualified supported with a relevant Teaching PTTLS
" Up to date knowledge of Health and Social Care Apprenticeship/NVQ standards up to Level 5
" Excellent people management skills, supported with knowledge and experience of Ofsted, Funding and Awarding Organisations.
" Knowledge of E-Portfolio's would be desirable
" Full UK Driving license and flexibility to travel
