Employer Responsive Assessor - Business Admin/Marketing

Full Time 36 hours per week - Permanent - Salary: GBP25,000-GBP26,000 per annum dependent upon qualifications and experience, plus up to GBP3,000 potential bonus (based on outcomes - terms to be agreed)

Hertford Regional College are looking for an Assessor to cover a cross section of vocational areas. Ideal candidates will enjoy working as part of a busy team, be highly organised and have the ability to use their own initiative to manage their identified caseload of learners.

As an Assessor you will support the successful attainment, via the application of effective training and assessment practices, of timely outcomes for learners on Apprenticeship programmes within the identified subject area/specialism. Successful candidates will be required to develop teaching, learning and delivery plans that meet the needs of the employer, for workplace delivery and support timely achievement.

Candidates will also be required to involve employers in all associated assessment processes, whilst providing a high quality service based on good working practices.

Assessors are actively involved in the recruitment and induction of learners including Training Needs Analysis, sign-up and initial assessment of learners. It is also the responsibility of Assessors to ensure the timely development and agreement of bespoke individual learning plans, by delivering outstanding learning and assessment through creative methods.

Ideal candidates will have good knowledge of Apprenticeship Frameworks and standards and will be qualified to assess in the workplace. You should also be able to support the delivery of underpinning knowledge for these qualifications and be able to run portfolio workshops to help Learners build portfolios.

You should hold a Vocational Qualification and an Assessor award, an Internal Quality Assurance Qualification would be an advantage.
