Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Salary: GBP21,310 - GBP22,238 per annum

Location: Wakefield City Campus

We have an excellent opportunity for an Operations and Events Co-ordinator working within our new Advanced Skills and Innovation Centre.

As Operations and Events Co-ordinator, you will be the main point of contact for anyone visiting the Advanced Skills and Innovation Centre, manning reception and dealing with enquiries from staff, students and visitors. Day to day this will involve overseeing the co-ordination of events and facilities, booking locations for events, liaising with internal and external clients and managing all aspects of the day to day operational running of the Centre.

As Operations and Events Co-ordinator for the Advanced Skills and Innovation Centre, you should:

  • Hold GCSE grade A*- C or equivalent in English
  • Hold GCSE grade A* - C or equivalent in Maths
  • Have event management experience

You should also be able to demonstrate:

  • A track record of positive customer service roles
  • The ability to plan and deliver events and activities
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
