Our client is a global provider of technology systems and solutions across the entire insurance industry. They provide core technology solutions, distribution and trading capability, advanced analytics and solution delivery.

They are looking for a talented Project Manager Team Lead to join their E-Trading Team based in their Halifax offices.

What being the Project Manager Team Lead with our client will involve:

As the Team Lead you will have a team of five Project Managers reporting into you and you will in turn report to the Programme Manager, providing strategic planning and portfolio management of all projects/programmes. As the lead within the team you will be responsible for development and maintenance of all project plans and will monitor and provide reporting on the E-Trading portfolio.

Key to this role is the ability to identify and report on operational risks and issues within the division's project/programme portfolio through the use of time recording and other reporting tools. Reporting is essential for continuous improvement and in order for this to happen this role will define and maintain Quality Management, follow up on internal training requirements and take responsibility for all quality assurance reviews and reports.

The Team Lead in Project Management needs to ensure to develop the team by setting objectives, agreeing project priorities, timescales and allocation of work. One of the targets will be to ensure that assigned project deliverables are completed on time and within budget and to expectations. The outcome of this will be to produce project reports regularly to senior management on the progress of all projects at Steering Group level.

Based in our client's Halifax office, there will be ad hoc travel to other International offices.

What experience our client looks for from you:

- A proven track record of working within a client delivery environment
- Project administration experience
- Previous experience of managing teams of at least five people
- A good working knowledge of MS Office and appropriate project governance tools
- A good understanding of and with previous exposure to a full project life-cycle
- The willingness and ability to undertake international travel as required
