We are currently working a on a great opportunity to work for an established and successful Financial Service company with a London feel in their Hitchin, Hertfordshire office! The role is for a Project Support Officer and will be paying GBP35,000 - GBP50,000 depending on your experience and they are offering a comprehensive benefits package.

As a project Support officer you will be joining the team to support a variety of investment based applications so that you can help individuals get authorisation from the FCA and PRA to trade.

You will need to have good working knowledge of CRR or CRD firms, COBs, CONC and a consultative approach to your work

To be considered for this role you must have:
. A background in financial regulation compliance, with an understanding of the FCA authorisation process and knowledge of the FCA handbook.

. Outstanding levels of professionalism, integrity, interpersonal and time management skills and excellent communication and report writing skills

. Strong commercial awareness with an in depth understanding of relevant FCA regulations and, most importantly to be able to interpret and apply them to client businesses

. A degree or diploma in a business finance or law related subject and have a minimum of two years working within a financial services firm

. A professional approach with the ability to work in a client facing environment either consulting, managing projects, supporting clients, training and advising clients on financial regulation

. An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to recognise potential commercial opportunities
You will be working within a strong operations team, an established head office support base and innovative bespoke systems
