This Financial Controls Analyst position based in Milton Keynes is focused around the oversight of operational and accounting controls across numerous key departments and business units, where the correct progressive individual will drive governance, process improvements and the delivery of policies across the global business

Financial Controls Analyst duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation and management of operational and accounting controls
  • Ensure controls and KPIs are as proactive as possible
  • Monthly reporting
  • Ensure financial ledgers are reported correctly
  • Change management
  • Manage BAU and day to day accounting
  • Project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with financial controls in place
  • Rigorously monitor bank accounts to ensure reporting is enabled to be 100% efficient and accurate
  • Identify control improvements and enhancements
  • Use reconciliations and mi to identify risks, recommending and analysis findings and preventative action
  • Profile

    Financial Controls Analyst ideal background and prior experience in the following areas

    • A background in financial and operational controls
    • Part qualified or finalist ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier or Qualified by Experience indivdual with a wealth of relevant experience
    • Strong Excel capabilities
    • Expert understanding of debits and credits
    • understanding of how to build and develop controls


    • Financial modelling experience
    • Access and SQL exposure is non essential but a bonus
    • Financial services experience
