The College provides an outstanding international educational experience for over 400 students from across the world and is part of a large network across the UK and around the world. They are located in the centre of Cambridge, making it easy to reach via public or private transport; parking is accessible on site.

An international College located in the heart of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, are seeking a Head of Department for Science, to lead and manage a team of 13 staff. You will work within the framework set by and under the general direction of the Principal. The role will involve a 60%-70% teaching timetable.

As the ideal Head of Science, you will:
•Have experience working as Head of Department or Deputy Head of Department; or a Qualified Teacher, with management experience;
•Ideally possess experience working with students who possess English as an Additional Language;
•Exhibit strong subject knowledge and curriculum knowledge;
•Be able to contribute to departmental planning and the development of resources;
•Be skilful in planning well-structured lessons which stimulates the learning of each and every individual;
•Be able to adapt teaching to differing levels and strengths of all students;
•Have strong behaviour management skills;
•Show passion and enthusiasm about your subject;
•Possess strong communication skills;
