Our client an established provincial based Insurance Brokers are looking to appoint a Commercial Account Handler. The job entails:
Day to day account management of existing customers business, including renewals and mid-term adjustments. Generating new business opportunities within the existing client base. Main duties/responsibilities/dties for this role are listed below:
• First response for client mid-term adjustment queries
• Pre-renewal survey & communication with clients
• Securing acceptable renewal retention
• Assisting with the claim process
• Cross-selling new business opportunities to existing clients
• Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
• Attend and present at external & internal customer meetings and other organised marketing activities including networking.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills (CPD).
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE ARE AS FOLLOWS:
• Proven track record in customer liaison / account management
• Fast learner and passion for sales
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Previous industry experience
• Full clean UK drivers licence & own transport
Weekly hours : Mon-Fri - 9am - 5.30pm
