Our client is a large national care provider who provides a range of care services for people with learning disabilities; autism; head and spinal injuries; neurological needs and other complex conditions

Due to continual growth, they are seeking experienced VQ Assessors to cover the following areas



As a VQ Assessor, we require an occupationally competent practitioner, either first level Nurse Registration or a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care to assess our employee's on QCF Diploma & Apprentice programmes. It will be advantageous is the Successful candidate should have A1 / D32 / D33 qualification. You should have previous experience in assessing in a care sector setting.

The VQ Assessor post is key to the development of the group in terms of meeting and exceeding national training requirements and promoting standards of excellence within our service provision.

If you are a highly motivated confident person with a good understanding of the VQ/QCF Diploma process, this could be the role for you. Managing your own learner caseload you will be working with some autonomy but under guidance and supervision. You will have good communication, time management skills and have the ability to motivate and develop others.

In order to provide a consistent approach within our employee development function, you will be required to attend meetings both with the internal team and external regulatory bodies. The role includes working with the Operational Teams to promote high standards of learning and development including e-learning. You will help to ensure a safe working environment for staff which complies with Health and Safety legislation and National Minimum Standards.

As the VQ Assessors posts involve commuting within a defined geographical area, the post holder will hold a full driving licence and have access to a motor vehicle.

Salary negotiable in the range GBP20,000 - GBP22,000 dependent on experience + Employee Benefits include 23 days annual leave Plus Bank Holidays, Life Assurance, access to childcare vouchers, sick pay and stakeholder pension.
