We are looking to recruit a Teacher who has experience of teaching young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) difficulties at a Special Educational Needs school near Bath and Trowbridge. The role will involve covering Food Technology lessons and will be full-time. Our client is seeking to appoint a motivated and ambitious Teacher of Food Technology with the ability to teach Textiles and Food Technology are seen as a distinct advantage to join their experienced Teaching team.

The ideal candidate should be someone who taught Secondary phases in the past and able to build rapport and manage behaviour effectively with young people with additional needs and challenging behaviour. The role is full-time and will be on a temporary basis until the end of academic year.

This role might be ideal for you if:

-You have previous Teaching experience or Qualifications.(QTS)
-You have previously worked with young people with challenging behaviour
-You have experience and understanding of working in a Special Educational needs setting
-You are available full-time from next term and have covered Food Technology
-You have training in Team Teach or Positive Behaviour Management.
-You have a flexible and conscientious approach to teaching but aim for high standards
-You are looking for short and long-term positions within schools.
