Our quality focused client is looking to recruit an experienced Care Home Manager, ideally from a Nursing background and who has a current registration with the NMC .
You will need to have excellent knowledge of the regulations and ensure full compliance, have good experience of managing a Care Home which provides care and support for Elderly Residents, Dementia Residents and where Nursing care is provided. This lovely bright modern very welcoming home is 60 bedded, all single rooms and en-suite. The home has wonderful landscaped sensory gardens for all to enjoy and the home prides itself on serving excellent varied home cooked meals for residents.
The Care Home Manager position requires strong leadership skills, an approachable and cheerful character who has the skills and ability to recruit and retain staff, ensure all staff are well supported and valued and who are given every opportunity to develop their skills and careers further. Experience with conducting staff supervisions, staff appraisals and staff disciplinarys is also required . You will have excellent support from the Regional Manager who will visit and work with you ensuring you feel well supported.
You will need good marketing experience as business development skills are required to ensure that the home is kept within budget and that rooms are kept occupied. Good IT skills, a positive motivated and enthusiastic attitude are also necessary to ensure this lovely home remains a happy, safe and forward thinking environment to live and work.
