This award winning companies office is based in the midlands, in rural Worcestershire (only 30 minutes form Birmingham and accessible by the M42 and M5 motorways).

Job Description:???????????? ????????????
Working within an office of 7 colleagues this role will report directly to the Managing Director.

You will take the lead on delivering all matters relating to the organisations' accounting and financial activities, liaising with external clients and suppliers, where required. ??????

Roles & Responsibilities:
Management Accountancy
Preparation of monthly and annual management accounts (for submission to the auditors)
Managing the company statutory records and annual returns ???
???Preparation of monthly VAT returns and acting as lead on HMRC ??????
Budget preparation and ongoing forecasting
Designated bank liaison
Ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards and other specific internal and external guidelines

Book Keeping & Credit Control
Receive and prepare purchase orders/invoices to be entered to the purchase ledger and keeping the invoice register accurate at all times
Processing to Sage
Making payments
Answering all internal & external purchase ledger queries
Management of debtor days and cash recovery
Bank/cash flow control ???& cash flow forecasting

Payroll Management
Monthly payroll including reconciliation against staff time-clock
Processing of Contributory pension scheme
Processing new starters & leavers
Record keeper/processor of holiday and sick days

Other general work
Attendance of Senior Management Team meetings
Preparation of management information reports including individual post event margin analysis (as required)
Analysis of CAPEX expenditure opportunities and ROI
Grant applications and management of awarded funds
Meter readings, fuel recording
(TSS) Operating system provider key liaison
Management of petty cash, credit and fuel cards
Associated admin including filing and printing

Qualifications
Accountancy professional who has a proven track record in delivering the full spectrum of Accounting tasks
Ideally qualified but consideration will be given to those Qualified by Experience
An experienced user of Sage Payroll and a good understanding of MS Excel
IT Confident, with the ability to reconcile data between systems. Experience of TSS & Echo is desirable, with training provided
Ability to give advice to Senior Management Team, aligned to supporting the delivery of their individual/company objectives.
Full Time Hours
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Attendance on our 2 Open weekends (March & October annually)
Salary GBP28,000-GBP34,000 plus performance related bonus
20 days holiday + bank holidays
Contributory pension
