Field Services Expert
In Experis IT, as a recruitment partner of the technological subsidiary of an important financial group located in Barcelona, we need to incorporate several profiles with experience as Field Services Expert/Supervisor in banking & finances for a project in Edinburgh.

We are hiring 2 profiles, 2 Field Services Experts and a Field Services Service Desk Supervisor to lead the team:
Field Services Expert: Responsibilities:
?? Oversee the mobility and printing services while maintaining contact with offshore global production teams, clients and local vendors
?? Manage mobility services coverage on a daily basis, oversee service crisis management activities including communication and printing hardware outages
?? Coordinate and supervise external contractors and technicians and offshore global team works
?? Control suppliers' mobility services updating, infrastructure processes and procedures. Provide opinion on the installation / removal of devices, operating systems update and application systems and hardware.
?? Supervise and update roll out plans and ensure the coordination with multiple teams (Local providers, app dev teams, client teams, global teams)
?? Report and define with the UK Production Service Manager programs and projects to address change in services, vendor issues and risks and SLA performance in mobility services
?? Report to the client??s Production Manager while tactically managing the IT production services and sourcing teams implementing the necessary changes
?? Implement and communicate industry standards and company guidelines to ensure safety and peak performance of the networks and datacenters
. Manage and ensure the company's commitment to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
?? At least 5 years of relevant experience in performing repairs, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in datacenters and networks
?? Desirable experience in finance/insurance sector
?? Previous responsibilities in a complex enterprise datacenter environment.
?? Experience in implementation, maintenance and analysis of servers, storage, and network
?? Degree in computer science, engineering, business or finance
?? Strong project and team management skills, excellent communicator
?? An excellent understanding of fixed and mobile phone infrastructure and printing services
?? Deep understanding and working knowledge of a high availability environments
?? Ability to analyse and identify issues impacting in operations and make sound decisions with a sense of urgency.
