Mid Tier Accounts & Audit Senior
Are you a recently qualified Accounts or Accounts & Audit Senior looking to move to a medium sized firm? Or are you part qualified with at least 3 years of experience and looking for your next challenge? Do you have experience of an accounts based role and are looking to receive training so that you can carry out audit assignments from planning to completion, but still carry out a mixed general practice role? If so, this medium sized practice in a prime London location is looking for a new member of staff due to high levels of growth. Based in the busy accounts and audit department your role will be split roughly 70% accounts and tax (statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, VAT returns) and up to 30% audit. Training will be provided if you don't have experience of audits. There will also be the opportunity to supervise and provide guidance to more junior members of staff in the office. A very strong emphasis is put on the advisory side of accountancy and you will be expected to provide value added advice to your clients on a regular basis. This will include various analysis, report writing and recommendations. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of SME and medium sized businesses from the media, entertainment, property, construction, hospitality and leisure industries, with turnovers up to GBP40m. This firm also acts for a number of very interesting start up businesses.
To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA, or a part qualified ACA or ACCA with at least 3 years of experience working for a small to medium size UK based practice firm. Your current role must include the above duties, ideally with some audit although the firm will consider training someone from a non audit background. You must now be looking to upgrade to a medium size firm where you can work with, and advise growing and entrepreneurial clients. You will now be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing Business Services department, and continue to learn new skills and work with impressive clients to improve your technical knowledge.
This growing accountancy firm has a great reputation for being a friendly and supportive place to work and providing their staff with challenging and varied roles. You will work in a friendly and growing team, and you can expect to work on an interesting array of clients from a wide range of industries. Overall this is a unique opportunity for a good quality Accounts & Audit Senior who is either recently qualified or is part qualified, to join a good quality practice firm with great promotion prospects and future progression on offer.
