Financial Controller: An ambitious Financial Controller experienced in working in a sub GBP10M turnover high growth SME sized business is required to manage the finance function and small finance team, in a wide-ranging role covering the production of monthly management accounts, through to supplier management, credit & debit control, international operations, and forex management. This is both a hands-on and strategic role.

The successful Financial Controller will be an all-rounder with a "can do" attitude, happy to take on much more than purely financial tasks. You will join the management team at a high growth SME sized international technology business, that provides SaaS solutions for Hospitality, Epos, Room Booking, Venues and Clubs. Direct reports are 2 financial and 2 administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

*Prepare and present on departmental monthly management accounts
*Control US operation and accounts preparation
*Prepare group annual accounts and year end schedules and liaison with auditors
*Budget / Forecast preparation and variance to performance analysis
*Daily cash management and cash flow forecast preparation and management
*Group VAT returns and reconciliation including EC Sales returns
*Forex management to minimise exposure
*Bank & Cash Reconciliation
*Recruitment and induction
*Procurement
*Company Secretarial duties
*Accounting administration, consisting of ensuring all customer and supplier processing, and related activities are processed and managed
*Debtors and Creditors control process
*Maintain the Sales and Purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations
*Work with Project Office to run the Month End
*Year End processes
*Payroll preparation activities including collation, deductions, reconciliations (outsourced payroll)
*Associate billing review process
*Expenses and Company Credit card collation and reconciliations.
*Provide standard financial reports and related information to management as required
*Keep abreast of regulatory and compliance requirements and ensure the Company is adhering

Skills & Experience:

*Proven experience, both in delivering the numbers and strategic
*Knowledge of finance software systems (Sage Line 50) and procedures
*Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
*Attention to detail and problem solving skills
*Excellent communication skills
*Reporting on International cost centres
*Relevant Accountancy qualification (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
*Demonstrable experience in similar type environment
