Reporting to: Associate Directors

Reports from aligned Account Manager and Executives

The Role

* To be the daily lead and contact point for key clients
* To nurture and grow designated accounts and be a good leader/role model for account teams
* To seek out and land creative opportunities
* To deliver on forecast and drive profitability throughout all accounts, always looking for organic growth
* To be a trusted client partner, fully understanding your clients' businesses

Key Responsibilities of the Role Client Service Skills

* Ability to have a long term view of your client and influence their direction

* Demonstrate the importance of your clients brand by having a thorough understanding of their products, market and customers

* Lead pitches and new business opportunities
* Ensure the total potential scope of work is identified and developed

* Think integrated, apply a channel-neutral approach; must be conversant with all channels, including digital and offline
* In the absence of a client brief be able to establish clear objectives to formulate a response adding value

Financial ownership

* Financial acumen; can analyse account performance and show understanding of the financial status of your client portfolio
* Work with the Business Director to plan activity for the year
* Maintain estimates throughout a campaign, managing and documenting change requests, adjusting estimates and timings accordingly, ensuring to seek client approval of estimates before issuing Client Quotations
* Record own time accurately and complete timesheets daily
* Make Business Director aware of opportunities identified to grow the account through new areas of the business
* Communicate to the Business Director any potential threats to the income forecast and work collaboratively to address issues
* Financially own your aligned client(s) by:

* providing accurate forecast figures on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis in line with Company requirements
* delivering your agreed income target
* ensuring prompt billing and management of WIP in line with Company requirements
* effectively managing individual margins on a client by client basis
* effectively managing recoverability on a client by client basis

Delivery expectations of the role

* The chargeable element circa 80%
* Internal circa 20%
