Human Resources Administrator - West Herts College
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven HR Administrator, to work full time within our busy Human Resources team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration with excellent communication and IT skills. We strive to continually offer great customer service and need someone who will be a positive and helpful point of contact for all our staff, stakeholders and external applicants.
You will be responsible for managing Training and Development requests and organising relevant CPD in line with the College's training plan. In addition you will assist in creating and uploading recruitment adverts, arranging interviews and keeping accurate records on our integrated HR and Payroll system iTrent. You will also assist with Payroll and Pensions administration tasks as required.
Your role will include general administrative tasks, supporting the HR Advisors and handling queries either face to face, over the phone or by email. Duties will also include processing of pre-employment checks, data entry and filing. Previous use of the HR system iTrent would be beneficial although training will be provided. It is essential for the right candidate to have excellent IT skills within the Microsoft Office packages and in particular Excel and Word.
The candidate will have a professional approach ensuring all information is handled appropriately, confidentially and in a timely manner.
You will be flexible, with a can-do approach and confident using the latest technology. If you are an excellent administrator with experience of working in a busy team with high volumes of work we would like to hear from you.
This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week at our Watford Campus.
