Care2Recruit are recruiting on behalf of one of their exclusive clients, a UK wide leading specialist Children and Adult Residential and Educational service providers for LD/ASC, SEMH and Complex Needs services. The client is an Ofsted registered children's home for boys aged 11- 17 years, offering 52-week care and education. It is located just outside the village of Slinfold and is set in beautiful countryside close to Horsham, West Sussex on the Sussex/Surrey border.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a Registered Manager (Head of Care) - BESD role. My client is an Ofsted registered children's home and DFE registered school offering care and education for boys aged between 11-18 years who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties (SEMH).

The Registered Manager (Head of Care) role is pivotal in supporting the residential teams to deliver best practice and achieve positive outcomes for young people. You will join an experienced team, and work in partnership with the Principal and Head of Education to deliver a high quality, child focused service.

Successful applicants will have experience in working with children and young people with complex needs and 2 years supervisory and managerial experience. You will need to hold a relevant management qualification to at least level 4. A Social Work qualification and post qualifying experience of two years and above would be beneficial.

You will need to demonstrate effective leadership of staff, commitment, drive and a real desire to work proactively with young people who are complex and present a wide range of challenges.
