What will the role involve?

You will be responsible for the management and motivation of a team of employability specialists, working with young people not in education, employment, or training. You will ensure your team achieves KPI's, objectives and contractual targets. You will need to promote a positive culture and maintain a professional working standard across all areas of your business

Some of the main accountabilities will include:

• Lead and motivate the team providing regular support, guidance and motivation for them to succeed in their roles.
• Responsible for highlighting contractual targets and ensuring a performance focused culture.
• Responsible for managing and organising the workload of your team.
• Provide your team with regular 1:1 meetings and performance management reviews.
• Manage any absence of your team as well as any other day to day people management activities.
• Ensure all contractual, performance and quality targets are achieved including those of the Supply Chain.
• Conduct regular observations on staff to ensure that the quality of service delivery, including paperwork is to a high standard
• Responsible for on-going continuous improvement activities.
• Attend and assist in external (possibly out of office hours) marketing events as appropriate.
• Contribute to the sharing of good practice and support continuous improvement, maximising contractual performance.

What skills, experience, and qualifications are we looking for?

• Experience of leading and motivating a team providing regular support, guidance and motivation for them to succeed in their roles
• Experience of working in an employability, education, training or related environment.
• The ability to achieve contractual targets and ensuring a performance focused culture.
• Provide your team with regular 1:1 meetings and performance management reviews.
• Manage any absence of your team as well as any other day to day people management activities.
