Plumbing and Gas Lecturer

I am currently working with a key client of mine to fill an exciting permanent position which has just become available within their established construction department as a Plumbing and Gas Lecturer.

In this role you will be working with groups of students aged 16-18 who are interested in getting into a career in the either of the disciplines and who are working towards either a level 2 or a level 3 qualification in the trade.
The ideal candidate will hold at least a level 3 qualification in either plumbing, gas or related area coupled with previous industry experience. Along with this you must also be gas safe. It is also preferable that you hold a teaching certificate for example DTLLS, CTLLS, PTLLS, PGCE. Any other qualifications you hold will be of benefit to your application and will be taken into account. Also, if you don't hold up to date gas tickets this is NOT an issue.

The successful applicant will receive a starting salary of up to GBP36,000 along with an excellent holiday and pension scheme. You will be working with a friendly, professional team around you and will be lecturing to enthusiastic students who WANT to learn.

This role is based in the Merseyside area with all lecturing taking place at the college.

Based over 6 different sites this college educates over 10,000 students in Merseyside each year. In recent years they have invested over GBP100 million into their campuses. The courses you provide will be delivered in modern, purpose built, fully equipped workshops with state of the art industry standard equipment.

If you would like an opportunity to work with this college or would like to find out more about this role please email Matt a copy of your CV or call me ASAP on (Apply online only).
