A client of mine based in Brighton are currently recruiting for a Legal Secretary to work in either their Conveyancing department. You will be providing administrative support to your department and may also be required to help outside of this, you will mainly be focussing on Residential Conveyancing. You will need to be able to take messages and deal with enquiries from clients as well as progress cases as appropriate.

You will be producing and preparing routine letters on your own initiative where capable. You will be making appointments and taking court listings as well as liaising with clients. You will also be required to check the reports relating to each days hearings ensuring they have been returned so that new diary entries can be made. You will be in charge of the filling, faxing and photocopying both on the computer and fax machines

For this role you require

- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Secretary
- Audio typing- 60+ words a minute
- General administration/office skills
- Confident when using a computer and office equipment
- High standard of English grammar and spelling
