Private Client Legal Executive / Solicitor

A new opportunity has opened for a Private Client Legal Executive to work within our multi-office, multi-discipline legal practice in North London. We are now seeking an experienced Private Client fee earner to join its team responsible for dealing with a broad range of matters relating to Wills, Probate, Tax and Trust work. This will be a fantastic chance for someone who wants to develop their potential, be trained and who can show ambition.

Required Skills and Responsibilities:
• Law degree (or equivalent GDL degree) - Essential
• 3 years PQE - Essential
• Experience of Probate and Estate Administration - Essential
• Fellow of CILEx - Desirable
• STEP Qualified - Desirable
• SFE membership - Desirable
Daily responsibilities will include:

• To manage an agreed caseload of clients, providing appropriate advice and assistance in accordance with professional standards and internal quality requirements relating to:
o Drafting wills
o Drafting Lasting power of attorney or other legal documents
o Dealing with Trusts, Banks and other Companies
o Dealing with Probate & Administration of Estate work
• To process cases on a timely and cost effective basis and in accordance with professional standards and internal quality requirements
• To ensure that billing takes place promptly and that outstanding balances are collected as soon as feasible
• To provide written, telephone and office costs estimates to Prospective clients/ Introducers with a full breakdown of costs and disbursements as requested
• To develop and maintain good client and commercial contact relationships and enhance the firm`s client base by effective liaison with existing clients and Introducers
• To achieve all individual financial costs targets
• To maximize the firm`s potential to cross - sell services by identifying appropriate opportunities
• To lead and supervise the team by providing coaching and support as and when required
• To use the correct procedures and systems in order to manage cases effectively and in accordance with the firm`s standards and legal requirements
• To manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision
• To meet performance targets set

Salary: Up to GBP45,000 depending upon experience
