We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join the Multidisciplinary Team within a Minor Injuries and Intermediate Care Unit in Ledbury, Herefordshire

The unit provides short stay nursing rehabilitation for up to 14 patients requiring step down care following surgery or medical intervention. Typical patients have previously been in hospital or step up care following an illness or incident at home which requires some stabilisation or therapy input prior to returning home.

The intermediate care unit is a nurse led service located within a Community Health Centre in the market town of Ledbury. Our Client Healthcare operates the service in partnership with Herefordshire Clinical Commissioning Group with a dedicated team of experienced nursing staff supported by GP's, occupational and physiotherapy and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate should have:

• a minimum of 5 years' experience in A/E
• a qualification in the care and treatment of people with minor injuries
• a qualification in immediate life support for adults
• a qualification in paediatric life support

There is a varied and interesting case load of people of all ages who live in the local community.
