CAMHS Professionals are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced CAMHS Social Worker to help lead our clients multidisciplinary team. You'll be conscientious and will strive to provide high quality care at all times.

With a full, dedicated multidisciplinary team, our client offers children and adolescents a range of services, from critical care through to departure. A specialist facility geared towards young people and home to a low secure service for men and with its 'Moving in', 'Moving On' and 'Moving Out' system on the ward, our client supports a full range of therapies including self-harm and anger management, life skills, art groups and access to formal education with a registered exam centre.

As a HCPC Registered Social Worker, you'll work closely with staff to provide for the service users complex needs and requirements, creating relevant treatment goals, in liaison with health and social care agencies. Managing and minimising risk where appropriate, you'll be actively engaged in the training and supervision of junior members of staff and students.
You'll bring with you a Social Work Degree and have at least 2 years experience working with mental health patients within a dynamic MDT. Successful candidates will be experienced in the assessment, risk assessment and treatment of psychiatric problems. Possessing knowledge and understanding of relevant mental health legislation, you'll have experience in effective communication with families and external agencies. Able demonstrate the abilities, experience and skills needed to deal effectively and constructively with conflict in challenging situations, you have taken an active part in service improvement and in developing your knowledge and skills.
