Koala Healthcare are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse Team Leader to help lead our clients multidisciplinary team. You'll be conscientious and will strive to provide high quality care at all times.

The Hospital based in Hull, the calm environment of their intensive care ward welcomes men with acute mental health needs and their dedicated, multidisciplinary team work with the individual to create a seamless route from referral to discharge.

For older males, our client has a specialist ward for treating service users with complex mental and physical needs. There is no upper or lower age limit, but this care setting provides support for challenging behaviour alongside other conditions such as Huntington's, physical frailty, terminal illness, diabetes and cardiac problems.

One of three Wards is an open acute service that can support up to 19 men in a therapeutic and calming setting. The service is an emergency admission ward that aims to work with service users with a broad range of mental health problems. The team works closely and collaboratively with service users, their family and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral to discharge.

One of the larger wards accepts referrals for service users whether informal or detained under the Mental Health Act. The service is not risk averse and has a willingness to accept referrals which may be challenging and can work successfully with individuals who experience a higher level of complexity and challenge, posing a risk to themselves or others. This is possible as both of their wards work closely together in order to assess and manage risk factors.

Our client is looking for a dynamic nurse to work in our acute services, caring for inpatients who've been admitted or are stepping down from PICU. You'll be an experienced and motivated RMN who is focussed on patient recovery. You'll thrive in a challenging environment and be driven to improve clinical standards.
