A hands on Finance Manager is sought to lead a small transaction team of a long established services business in Kent. Joining the Senior Management Team, you will cover all aspects of the day to day accounts process, including the training and development of all members of the team to enable the department to run efficiently and effectively. The role will cover:*Ensuring the accuracy of the management accounts *Verifying full reconciliations of all balance sheet/profit & loss items are completed as part of the month end process*Introducing useful P&L analysis and comparing versus prior periods and budget*Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and monthly EC sales lists*Preparation and submission of PAYE returns, including forms P11d*Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll*Assist with External Audits and year end reporting*Making improvements to current processes, constantly seeking efficiencies.*Identification of any system errors and implementation of procedures to prevent further issues. Applicants will ideally be fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or QBE with experience of working within a distribution / manufacturing environment.
