This globally operating manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager for one of their divisions based near Southampton. This is a visible and influential job role that has arisen as a result of internal promotion and development.This company provides diverse products to a varied customer base and operates at the forefront of the industry, consistently challenging the norm and adopting a continuous improvement culture. This job will require you to work across the business providing challenge, insight and analysis to aid business performance.You will be a fully qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with previous experience operating in a similar Financial Planning, FP&A or Commercial Finance Manager role. Key duties tasked within this job role include but not limited to:- Acting as Finance Business partner to the wider business, providing accurate financial information and insight in order to achieve business performance targets as well as opportunities for improvement.- Play a key role in support of customer bids and capex proposals.- Work with the finance team in the development of strategic financial planning, budgets and forecasts ensuring targets are translated effectively to the business.- Play a key role in the sales, inventory and operations planning (SIOP) process.You will possess a sound technical financial skill set ideally gained initially from Practice and a proven Financial Planning & Analysis background. In addition you must also be able to demonstrate the ability to develop and coordinate strategic plans, forecasts, objective setting and analysis.This is a hands on finance role that manages one direct report and reports into the Finance Director.
