Group Financial Accountant
Churchill Howard are working exclusively with a Venture Capitalist backed Services Business based in Alcester to recruit a Group Financial Accountant. The role of Group Financial Accountant will offer the successful candidate the chance to be involved with a number of high profiled acquisitions as well the opportunity to assist with the VC exit strategy in the next 5 years. Within the role the successful Group Financial Accountant will get unrivalled Senior Stakeholder interaction with the Finance Director, CFO and CEO to assist in forming strategy as well as monitoring the company's overall performance. The Group Financial Accountant role will grow as the business continues to grow (Current turnover GBP120m+) and they will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility and progress rapidly with this exciting organisation - Eventually managing a team within the group function. Group Financial Accountant - Key Responsibilities: Responsible for producing weekly & monthly cashflow forecasts for the Group. Understanding, challenging and co-ordinating the forecast inputs provided by Acquisitions.Support the preparation of annual UK GAAP FRS 102 statutory financial statements including all notes and required disclosures.Technical accounting support on all new accounting standard / complex areas of accounting. Assist with ensuring overall compliance with new UK GAAP and responding to technical queries as received from the Group.Managing/ reporting the liquidity position in conjunction with the CFO/Director of Finance.Liaising with CFO, Director of Finance and VC stakeholders to ensure strong EBITDA performance based around robust KPI's.Responsibility for posting all audit adjustments identified back to underlying ledgers.Manage daily cash balances between Group accounts.Maintaining bank signatories, accounts, credit cards.Relationship management with banking partners.Responsible for arranging loan interest, draw down and earn out payments and obtaining the necessary approvals. The successful applicant will be a Practice trained individual (ACA/ ICAS/ ACCA or equivalent) and will be looking to make a move into industry to progress with their career. They will show the ability to work independently and they will be the type of proactive individual who finds solutions to key problems.
