Are you an experienced KS1 teacher who is looking for additional responsibility from September?

A highly ethnically diverse Manchester primary school are looking for a talented individual to join their roster as a KS1 Teacher.

***KS1 Teacher position in Manchester
***Long Term/Interim, Full-Time role at a forward thinking primary
***Position starting September
***Main Pay Scale + TLR for literacy

This client school has a vacancy for an experienced KS1 Teacher who can lead & coordinate literacy. You will need to have at least 2 years solid teaching experience where you have been graded good and better in all observations. This opportunity is available from September and the school is looking now to secure the right calibre candidate.

To be considered you will need to be a directed KS1 Teacher who has been acknowledged as a 'Good' or better teacher out of observations and some previous experience in an inner city school. The Headteacher wants to recruit a teacher with the knowledge of the curriculum and confidence to deliver informed and interesting lessons in a calm and authoritative manner. You will be an assertive individual who can learn the ropes in your new environment quickly and adapt your approach to teaching to mirror the school's ethos.

As a KS1 Teacher you will be joining a specific KS1 class based on the school's need. You will quickly settle into your new position with the support of a Parallel teacher mentor and should you have the appetite, the position of Residential Care can be added to your duties.

This school is a trend-setting primary found in Manchester - this lovely community school is easily reached from most areas of South Manchester. It is considered to be a 'Good' learning environment and has become a focal point of the community and is an important facility within the area.
