Group Financial Analysis & Systems ManagerHertfordshireGBP60-GBP65K + Excellent Bonus and BenefitsAn outstanding opportunity to join our high profile client, a FTSE 250 listed World leader in their field as Group Financial Analysis & Systems Manager. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller this highly visible position will perform in-depth financial analysis of the Group and be responsible for managing, enhancing and maintaining the Group's Consolidation and Management Information Systems.Financial Analysis:Conduct clear and concise analysis; provide key insights into performance, highlighting risks and opportunities. Design, test and deliver timely data driven, error-free reports to support senior management evaluation and external communications via Investor Relations. Perform detailed analytical review of monthly management accounts, discuss with senior management as required. Review and challenge strategic plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts via detailed analysis.Introduce effective financial predictive analytics for the Group and its Operations; critically evaluate budgets and forecasts against statistical extrapolations, communicating, discussing and validating the end-results.Build working relationships at various levels across the Group and with Divisions in order to source information or assist in the understanding of financial information.Develop user friendly financial models in order to support the multi-year strategy and viability process.Support analytical interface with auditors, deliver financial aspects and supporting data/information for the Group half-yearly investor presentations Assist Group Consolidation Accountant to ensure timely delivery of month end reporting.Support other ad-hoc finance projects, acquisitions and aspects of the yearly planning process.Financial systems:Alongside the Group Consolidation Accountant, responsible for planning and delivery of accurate and timely consolidated reports, maximising systems' efficiency, automation and accuracy.Be a super user of SAP-BPC MS (Consolidation System) for the Company. Promoting best practice use of these systems, providing regular support, maintenance/updates and training to the global user community. Delivery of continuous improvement across the entire management reporting process and systems, including working closely with external consultants where applicable.Experience, Education and Skills-Graduate with numerical/scientific degree.-Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with relevant PQE.-Experience of large plc environment and complex consolidations highly desirable.-Highly numerate with the ability to collaborate and communicate with people of all levels of seniority.-Strong organisation skills with a proven ability to interpret complex data and user requirements to develop management information systems.-Strong systems' experience with working knowledge of SAP BPC 10 MS essential.-Advanced Microsoft Excel skills essential.
